How ClearBid works
From a tender landing in your inbox to a package you can submit — the whole loop, in six steps.
- 1
A tender arrives
Upload · RadarTwo ways in. (a) You have the document(s): go to Upload and drop the PDF/Word files — one tender can have several. (b) You spotted it on a portal (APC, SaskTenders): open the posting while signed in and use “Add opportunity” on Radar. Either way it becomes one tender in ClearBid.
- 2
ClearBid reads it and scores it
autoIt extracts every mandatory pass/fail requirement with the exact page it came from, writes a plain-English synopsis (“who wants what”), and scores your fit 0–100. It then classifies the tender: Directly addressable, Needs a partner (and names the gap — e.g. bonding, on-site/COR), or Out of scope.
- 3
You review it in Radar
RadarEvery new tender lands in Radar — staged, not committed. Read the synopsis, the requirements, the fit score and disposition. Decide: pursue, archive (kept for learning, with a note), or delete. This is the go/no-go gate, so you never sink time into a bid you can’t win.
- 4
Move it to Bids
Radar → BidsWhen you decide to pursue, click “Move to Bids”. Uploaded tenders keep their document — no re-upload. (A tender you only saw as a portal listing will ask for the document here, because we don’t have the file yet.)

Build the package
Bids · tender pageOn the tender page, click Draft Response — the AI writes the response from your dossier + answer library. Then Analyze gaps: it auto-drafts every answer it can (amber, “verify”) and flags the few that need your real facts (“needs your input”). Accept or edit each; the progress bar fills as you go.

Download and submit
BidsDownload the Word Response, the compliance Matrix (PDF/XLSX), acknowledge any addenda, and submit on the portal yourself. ClearBid prepares the package; you file it. Set the bid status and amount on the Bids page so win/loss history trains future pricing.
