ClearBid

Portals

The tender sources ClearBid watches. Each is labelled by what we can actually do with it — automatic pull only where the site permits unattended access (robots.txt + no login and no bot-challenge). Everything else is a monitored bookmark you fetch signed in and drop into Radar.

How automatic pull works — and its honest limits

Canada's main portals (Alberta Purchasing Connection, SaskTenders) sit behind Cloudflare bot-walls and, for APC, a robots.txt that disallows crawling. ClearBid does not bypass logins or bot-challenges, so those stay manual drop-in: open a posting while signed in and add it on the Radar page — it's then scored and classified exactly like an auto-pulled one. A portal only becomes auto-pull eligible when it's openly reachable. Currently 1 portal qualifies.

Add a portal to watch

ClearBid checks the site's robots.txt and whether it's reachable without a login or bot-challenge, then tells you honestly whether it can be pulled automatically or needs manual drop-in. It never bypasses a login or a bot-wall.
